It is important that you prepare for your appointment appropriately. Here is how prepare your skin for your procedure to achieve the best results.
6 months prior to procedure
Stop using Retnoids or any derivatives of Vitamin A
4 WEEKS PRIOR TO PROCEDURE
Stop using products containing AHAs.
Avoid chemical peels, laser peels, and photo facials
No Botox in brow or forehead area.
2 WEEKS PRIOR TO PROCEDURE
Do not tan (natural sun and tanning beds); if you have a sunburn on your face we will not be able to complete service.
1 WEEK PRIOR TO PROCEDURE
Do not thread, wax, tweeze, or tint your eyebrows
Do not take Fish oils and Vitamin E
Avoid blood thinning medications. (Consult with your doctor)
3 DAYS PRIOR TO PROCEDURE
Do not take blood thinners: aspirin, niacin, Advil, ibuprofen, (Tylenol is okay)
24 HOURS PRIOR TO PROCEDURE
Do not consume alcohol
Do not consume caffeine (coffee, tea, or soda)
Do not work out
Do not smoke anything 4 Hours prior to appointment
Do not take prenatal or vitamins
Be well rested and ensure you have eaten
It is important that your prepare for your appointment appropriately. Failure to following the instructions above could lead to excessive bleeding during your procedure. Excessive bleeding will dilute the pigment and will lead to poor pigment retention and unsatisfactory results (blurry hair strokes) once healed.
This is due to your blood pushing the pigment out. Your body’s natural response if out of my control. I am not responsible for final results if you fail to follow this pre-treatment care. For the best results, please follow accordingly.
In some cases, if there is excessive bleeding we many not be able to continue treatment. If due to failure to follow above care plan you forfeit your deposit and service must be paid in full.
