MY SOMATIC JOURNEY

“My journey began four years ago when I started to experience unexplained health issues. After seeking the expertise of different specialists and leaving their offices without answers, I became hopeless. I remember praying and asking God to show me what was going on with my body; I could no longer stand the chaos my body was causing.

Through prayer, God led me to the conclusion that there was unresolved sexual trauma that was manifesting physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I was experiencing what I had been studying for the past three years! I began applying everything I learned, started seeing a therapist, and actively sought a practitioner who could assist me on my somatic journey. While tying different practitioners and pursuing the right fit, God laid on my heart the need for a faith-based practitioner that offered trauma-informed somatic modalities.

That is when my business shifted to offering somatic practices with the option of worship music. To provide a safe space to discover mindfulness in a way that speaks uniquely to each individual. To feel secure regardless of your beliefs, past experiences, or views, ALL ARE WELCOME. Holding space offers safety and my undivided attention, utilizing my expertise and skills. In each session, a synchronizing happens that can ONLY BE EXPERIENCED!” -Q
